Some days are better than others, but most are like skin to rubber. I feel trapped inside.

There is not a single instance in history where hate has brought joy to human beings. It is a negative force that serves only to destroy those who hold it in there mind and body. If the majority of humanity released all hate, fear, and resentment, wars would disappear from our planet.

Take me to this place you say is breezeless
where the shadows standstill
and the brightness is only at the tips of your toes,
and the darkness smells like rainbows.
Take me to this place you say people fall in love
without saying a word, where sunshine is vibrantly
heard.
Take me to this place were the waves crinkle
and never splash. Where you become ageless never
knowing how much time has passed.
Take me to this place, you and I will only know. Where mindfulness has no plateau.
Take me
Forever there.

On this day that I am heavy, and full of saddness, my poem “Home” was published.
So honored to be a part of this beautiful tribute.
Feeling Heavy today
Grief Knot
A loop of process
A loop of dismay
Crossed and tightened to bring enormous pain.
After being worn for some time,
it starts to unravel
exposing pieces of
happiness,
loosened smiles,
drops of laughter
tangled with moments of love.
Catch those strings
and put them up for later,
when they appear the sorrow
seems to brightens
for that moment.
The knot
doesn’t seem so tight.
Those are the days
we should remember .
